Competition method of Young Financial Planner was very like the YEA HSBC. Difference between these two games was: competitors were not university students, they were all age from 16 to 18 Hong Kong secondary school teenagers.
HSBC invited Ms Kelly Chan, President ACCA; Mr. Edward Chiu, Assistant Director of BBA Programme HKU; Ms Francine Fu, President Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong; Mr. Bruno Lee, Head of Wealth Management HSBC and Mr. Chris Mong, Vice President The Hong Kong Institute of Education to be the judgement of the Competition.
Some 3000 students, over one-third of Hong Kong's secondary school students had participated in various HSBC Living Finance activities.
The 450 students of 97 schools completed in the Young Financial Planner Competition.
List of five schools which could stepping in the final competition stage:
1. La Salle College.
2. HKTA Yang Hin Memorial Secondary School.
3. St Mary's Canossian College.
4. Marymount Secondary School.
5. True Light Girls' College.
Regarding to the judgement result,
Gold winner was La Salle College,
Silver winner was St Mary's Canossian College
and Bronze winner was Marymount Secondary School.

May be the key for first experience to the future career provide by HSBC.
The three winner students are not only recieve price awards, but also have an opportunity for two days trial to HSBC branch.
